The file below contains the thoughts of a pilot group of schools on the coast after their first term. The choice between BTEC and OCR largely depends on whether your school already offers BTEC or OCR vocational courses - it is much easier to "piggy back" your science course on an existing accredited centre structure v- if you aren't an accredited centre this must be gained first before any courses can be offered.
